Women’s clothing retailer opens first Michigan store at Woodland Mall
GRAND RAPIDS, MI – A new women’s clothing retailer has opened at Woodland Mall.
Rose & Remington, which offers clothing, accessories, gifts, home decor and more, has opened an 8,200 square foot space in the Von Maur wing of the mall, according to a press release.
“We are delighted to welcome Rose & Remington to Woodland Mall as the premier location in Michigan,” said Alyson Presser, Woodland Marketing Director, in a statement. “With its fun and stimulating atmosphere, expert in-store stylists and fiercely fashionable yet affordable options, Rose & Remington will complement our wide selection of destination retailers well.”
Most dresses at Rose & Remington range from $ 30 to $ 65, while her tops cost between $ 20 and $ 45, according to a press release. The store also sells jewelry, candles and other items that “support national and global initiatives”.
The store was founded in Lebanon, Ohio, by “a mother-daughter duo with the goal of creating a warm and welcoming space where mothers and daughters can shop together.” Today, the retailer is co-owned by Kristen Ponchot and her mother, Dee Alexander, and her brother, Nate Alexander. The retailer was named after Ponchot’s twin children.
The business has grown from one store in 2014 to nearly 20 locations today, according to a press release. It plans to open 40 more stores in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Illinois, Texas and neighboring states over the next few years, according to a press release.
