U.S. Clothing Retailer Lands’ End Reports Fourth Quarter Fiscal 2020 Revenue of $ 538 Million

Lands’ End, a U.S. single-channel casual clothing, footwear and home products retailer, reported a 2.0% drop in revenue to $ 538.4 million in the fourth quarter (Q4 ) for the fiscal year 20 ended January 31, 2021, compared to sales of $ 549.5 million in the same period last fiscal year. The company’s net profit fell to $ 19.9 million (Q4 FY19: $ 25.5 million).

“We were well positioned to capitalize on the accelerated shift to the Internet as a digitally driven company and we have benefited from the investments we made to strengthen our competitive strengths. This has enabled us to generate single-digit growth in our global e-commerce sales and double-digit growth in Adjusted EBITDA in fiscal 2020, ”said.

The company’s gross profit for the quarter slipped to $ 212.8 million ($ 218.7 million), while operating profit declined to $ 35.9 million ($ 39.8 million) ). However, global e-commerce revenues jumped 7.5% during the review period, driven by revenue growth in Europe of 38.0% and e-commerce growth in the United States of 3.7%.
