Teesside disco clothing retailer reveals ‘ambitious’ international expansion plans

A retro clothing brand from the North East has revealed ‘ambitious’ plans for expansion into the UK and Europe over the next three years.

Teesside-based Brutus Gold Boutique is set to launch two new production facilities in Australia and Italy in July to meet growing demand.

The company, which specializes in clothing inspired by the disco era, said it is on track to achieve a turnover of £ 3.5million over the next three years.

Its transition to global wholesale is now expected to increase sales by 80% by the end of 2022.

Rocco Violetta, Founder and Managing Director of Brutus Gold Boutique, commented: “We have put a lot of effort into the development stages of our clothing, making sure to source from the right suppliers and testing the products over and over.

“It has been very hard work but also very rewarding. From the start, it always felt good to us and the brand immediately struck a chord with like-minded customers around the world.

“Our philosophy is simple: we offer total transparency from manufacturing to production to customer support. All of our products are hand finished with love. Ultimately, we want people to be happy and have fun with what we do.

“We aim to be the world’s one stop shop for retro ethically designed clothing and, based on our current momentum, we are well on our way to becoming so. “
