Körber’s partnership with retail company JYSK continues to support the company in the face of the challenges of the boom in e-commerce.

Körber continues its collaboration with the JYSK distribution chain at its Bozhurishte distribution center (DCB) in Bulgaria. Recently, DCB has supplied both JYSK’s own stores and also online customers in South East Europe.

Thanks to Körber, JYSK has now expanded the capabilities of its distribution center and prepared it for the complexities of online retailing.

Körber implemented the warehouse management system based on SAP EWM (extended warehouse management) and SAP EWM MFS.

Thanks to this, JYSK is also able to offer its customers services with a much lower carbon footprint. In the past, online orders for South East Europe were largely processed in Radomsko, Poland, and resulted in high freight costs.

Allan K. Kjærgaard, EVP Logistics at JYSK said, “The SAP system and automation components allow us to more effectively meet the expectations of our customers despite the increased volume. Our continued partnership with Körber and its portfolio of versatile solutions has enabled and will continue to provide the flexibility to expand our capabilities to meet future demands. “
