Indian fashion retail company FLF reports FY21 revenue of 2,277 million yen

Future Lifestyle Fashions (FLF), an Indian fashion company, reported a decline in operating revenue to 2,276.7 crore in the 2021 fiscal year ended March 31, 2021, compared to revenue from 6,297.3 crore in the previous year. The company’s net loss for the year widened to 933.3 crore (FY20: ₹ 53.0 crore), while EBITDA was ₹ 30 crore (₹ 1,055 crore).

Gross profit for fiscal year 21 fell to ₹ 626 crore (₹ 2,128 crore), while total expenses amounted to ₹ 3,245.4 crore (6,313.3 crore).

“The impact of the current outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic on the overall economic environment is uncertain and may affect the underlying assumptions and estimates used to prepare the company’s financial results, the actual result may differ from these assumptions and estimates considered at the date of approval of these financial results, ”the company said in a press release.

FLF is Future Group’s flagship fashion company, operating with over 300 stores in over 90 cities. It owns and markets leading brands, through its internal Central and Brand Factory retail chains, exclusive outlets and other multi-brand outlets.
